Lighting projects can be too way to busy for some spaces. Sometimes too many spots can cause glare rather than sparkle when all we need is an accent to enhance the colors and textures of a piece of art or the curtains you spent a fortune on. More often what is needed other than a dozen spots in the wrong place is good general lighting that makes it easy to see with out glare, with good color rendering and can be dimmed.
Often it is changing a light bulb that does the trick. Yes just a light bulb with a good shade, no need to call in an electrician and rewire the house, that saves on the budget.
