I like Josef Albers work the Interaction of Color, his book where he discusses how colors relate to one another, in it were some very good lessons of place colored shapes next to one another. He was apparently a very good teacher at Black Mountain College in North Carolina and his students became those that shaped American art for decades. In the 1960's he created album covers for Command Records. I remember these album covers, my mother had them. To me they are still dynamic and provocative.
