A Fluorescent Tube

Dan Flavin placed a T-8 fluorescent tube at a 45° angle and made us all look at it from a different angle.

A fluorescent tube when placed in the right place can provide good lighting. It is good task light and when washed down a wall is good background lighting. And I think in the right place, like Dan Flavin, it can fill a space with illumination.

  1. Cheers for sharing Kelly. I really love the work of Dan Flavin. I didn't really "get" it when I was younger, but now I understand the beauty and simplicity of his work, stunning!
